| | Buying wedding gift | | I know I waited too long to buy anything online, because tomorrow my friend is getting married and I still have no gift for her. That is because I didn't know what to get her, I know she likes angels, but I didn't know actually what. Then it hit me last night, a set of candlesticks. I hope that our local walmart/k-mart has some nice ones, because when I went online, the only ones that look good enough I can only get online and obviously I don't have the time. (Or really the money either when I include overnight shipping)I really would like to get this gift for her, but just in case what ideas do you have. Nothing too expensive, at least under $50.00. | |

| | Sorry! I am taken... | | I got married last January 21, 2009. Wednesday.[em]wub[/em] The day after President Obama's inauguration. It was a very simple wedding yet full of love and adoration.Yesterday, we went to Meijer, there was one employee there who was always looking at me whenever we go to Meijer's. But, yesterday when this guy saw us going out of the car and heading to the entrance of the supermarket, he went out and asked my name, asking if I was with Dennis. I hold Dennis hand and showed the guy the wedding ring that is in my ring finger, and so as Dennis while saying "[u][i]WE just got married yesterday[/i][/u]". The guy could not believe it, hahaha.. He said in a loud voice "[b]NO WAY![/b]"[em]lol[/em]Had this happen to you? Someone asked your name when obviously, you are with someone?

I always assume that people's screen names and avatars are somehow linked to person, though of course that always isn't the case. My online names and avatars usually reflect music so here's no different. The dancing milk is from a Blur video (Coffee & TV) which I love to bits (both video and song). | | Church wedding after 5 years of living together. What do you think about it? | | My husband and I had our civil wedding five years ago. One time, my family and I visited our friend. It happens that my son saw the wedding picture of my friend. He approached me and told me that he also saw the wedding picture of his friend during their "show and tell" in their school . But why he can't see any picture in our house? I'm speechless . I don't know what to say. That night, my husband and I discussed that issue. We are considering to have a church wedding. But do you think it is not awkward since we already have a four year old son? What do you think? Your responses will be greatly appreciated. | |
| | Practicum Log # 10 | | Ok, this practicum log is almost two weeks late, but better late than never. I was really stressed out, because I had to reformat my lesson plan and my supervisor was being extremely difficult. First, she tells me to reformat it than she won't give me the format until 9pm that night and class starts at 8am. So, I couldn't redo it her way, but she said she understood and wanted the next, which is the last one anyway, lesson plan to be in that format. I wanted her to come on the 25th, but she couldn't. Getting to school was a hassle that day. I had to lug two pounds of paint, six containers, and other materials on two bus. So, I dropped them off in the teacher's lounge and went to get some breakfast. When, I came back, my mentor teacher told me my shirts came in. I was really happy to have them. I noticed a few other teachers were dressed up and asked why. It was picture day. Which was cool to experience, because I'm often not there when they do things like that. Next, my supervisor came and we talked a bit. So, I went to the room and hung up my coat and put the supplies away. I helped the aid get the students from the bus and they seemed happy to see me and some of them were... | |
| | What would you do if you took down a picture and found a hole under it--- | | I took down my wedding picture,(many years and a marriage ago) and found that the ex had drilled a hole behind it so that he could watch my 14 year old daughter dress. I just screamed (glad the kids weren't home!) and had his bags packed and by the door when he got home from work. (I worked days and he worked nights)
