| Websites On Engagement | | This discussion topic could be found in a lot of different places, but as I am not sure where to put it I thought the best place to put it is here. I am trying to create a website on mine and my fiance's wedding planning. Ofcourse, being a member of mylot you can also imagine that I would like to make this website make a little money for myself. No, I don't want google adsense or any of it's variants. I wouldn't mind "sponsors" but am not sure how to go about getting those, as well as if I could trust them. If anyone has any other ideas on how to make money off of a free website, other then the quite obvious one of asking for donations, I would greatly appreciate it. Questions I would like answered are as followed: Do you know to create a website?
Have you ever made money off of a website?
What would you recommend as a money maker f o r t h e w e b s i t e?

| | Cemetery Weddings: Creepy or Romantic? | | Recently in a wedding magazine, I read about a couple who decided to have their wedding ceremony in a cemetery. I've also read a couple articles about it elsewhere: it seems like cemeteries are becoming a bit of a trend, and not just in the gothic crowd. To me, the idea of a sunny, bright, green-grassy field, a nice old chapel, and old tombstones in a well-kept graveyard seems rather romantic. A late summer wedding, early afternoon, would be lovely in such a setting. I am not thinking of those kinds of weddings amongst the tomstones, but a bride in a white dress in a field or open grassy area within the cemetery, with a nice old church or chapel or gazebo type feature. It seems so romantic to me, surrounded by age and time, couples buried together, really gives a striking image to forever. I know many people would think it kind of creepy or morbid to have a wedding in a cemetery. What do you think? | |
