| | Candy Kiss Wedding Favor | | Here is another cute idea I found that would be easy to make for a wedding,
Materials: 2 Paper Roses (two different colors); Plastic favor champagne glass; seed pearls; Hershey Kiss; tacky glue.
Directions:1. Take your champagne glass, turn it over so the base is facing upwards, and cover the stem and top with very small dots of glue. Put a pearl on each dot of glue. Let dry completely.
2. Take the first rose (if these are the medium sized paper roses) and open it up by pulling the petals out. Open it as far as you can without pulling off the petals. Take the second rose and pull it apart completely.
3. Put tacky glue on the top (new top) of the glass. Then glue first flower on it. Let Dry. Make sure to press the petals down so they will stick. Pull out the leaves so they can be seen on the edge.
4. Take the petals of your other rose and glue them around the flower to fill in empty spaces on the base of the glass. Let Dry.
5. Place a small dollop of glue in the center of the flower and place your Hershey Kiss on top. Let dry. | |

Wedding Favor Soaps
Melt & pour clear soap
Ribbon with the bride & groom's name & wedding date.
Plastic dove or wedding bells

Melt the soap in the microwave for 20 seconds per square or per Melt and Pour packet Instructions.
Once your soap is melted pour into heart or square shaped molds (only half way) and let set for 1 minute.
Add your items of choice. Then fill the rest of your mold with the melted soap pouring over your items.
Let it set then pop it out of the mold.
Plastic Bride and Grooms can be bought from craft or cake supply stores. | |

| A Winter Wedding | | So i'm going to be getting married on January 25th and i'm having a winter themed wedding. My colors are going to be in the whole Silver, Blue and Ivory scheme. I'm curious what kind of cool idea people have for things to do for the wedding. Everything from decorations to wedding favor ideas. I have a lot of it figured out i think so far, but i would love some more input. I'm trying to do as much of it myself as i can to save money. It amazes me how much a wedding can add up to. XP My cake is going to be really pretty... i may end up baking it myself, but i do have a baker that wants to do it. Having your wedding cake done is expensive as well. But we still need to do the ff:1. Finalize the design of our wedding invitation.
2. Choose flowers to be used in the bridal bouquet, entourage bouquet and wedding chapel.
3. Select wedding favors
4. Select gifts to be given to parents (as thank you gifts)
5. Select tokens to be given to bridal entourage.
6. Choose wedding cake designs.
Our wedding theme is semi-modern Hispanic (Spanish) and our color motifs are red, turquoise and dark brown. I will be wearing a lacy white wedding gown and we booked a historical/classic wedding... | |

| Any Wedding Ideas? | | There is a very important wedding I need to "coordinate" this year. And even if I have some ideas on favors and themes, I can't help feeling they are not too good. I want it to be unique and simple at the same time. But not too ordinary.
I don't know if any wedding coordinator or bride is on myLot and if they are willing enough to share their ideas, but I would love to hear them. Any ideas on themes that could go during fall or winter or even late summer? How about wedding favors? Any wild or crazy idea is welcome.
