| 101 uses for your ex-wife's wedding dress | | when i saw this news from Inside Edition, i felt really sad about what Kevin Cotter is doing to his ex-wife's wedding dress- a toy for his dog, for cleaning the car, a table cloth, shopping bag, etc. marriage, like any other things in this world may not end up like a fairy tale. yes, this can be mr.cotter's way of letting out his resentment against his wife who left her after 12 years of marriage, but i find this really disrespectful towards someone whom you've loved in your lifehow would you feel if this thing happens to you? | |
| | Wedding dress--- buy or hire | | In my opinion,I think the wedding dress is disposable to some degree, coz I have never seen anyone wear wedding dress in their routine life,it just appear at wedding party and in wedding potos.
It's virtual a waste of money if u buy it just for taking wedding potos and be present at wedding part, coz it's just use over(exclusive u are a marryholic..... hahaha).I'd like hire it,even couples of suits,I could make amazing wedding potos with them in different styles. Also enough for me to remember the honey time and the splendid, glorious simle twinkle when My partner said "I will".

| Is it really BAD LUCK to wear your Wedding Dress before your Wedding? | | I am so excited that my wedding day is fast approaching. Everything is set, from invitation to itsy bitsy details that are needed. At the same time, I also do my diet and few sit-ups to somehow look good in the pictures. What's bothering me now is that my wedding dress already done two months ago. Now, here in my country, we have this belief that its bad luck to wear your wedding dress/gown before your wedding. My problem is, how will I know if my dress still fits me?Is it really bad luck? | |
| | Why can't you walk around a wedding dress store? | | I was watching one of those dress shows on television on pickuing the right wedding dress and the dress consultant was talkign about how the customers can't just walk around the store but rather have to be escourted. I don't think this ahs anything to do with stealing these gigantic dresses but rather...well I don't know.
I know that I would rather have the choice to look without someone - that's just how I am.
How about you? Why do they do this? What happens if you ask them to leave you alne?

| | What did you do with your wedding dress? | | my mother currently gave me back my wedding dress (it was being stored in her cedar cabinet) and knowing i plan on staying married and knowing i would NEVER be 100lbs again (i was deathly skinny) i figured i would sell it. i dont have any kids to pass it down to and i would hope they wouldnt be so sickly to fit into it lol.. some people are so against sellign them but i figure really thats all i can do with it.. or let it rot which would be too much a shame.did you keep your wedding dress? do you fit into it still? has anyone ever worn the dress to more than one wedding that has been married more than once? (just curious!) or did you keep it to pass on to your future kids? i feel like a freak in selling it but i cant stand having things sit around and not be used and know that only time will hurt it and it will never be used again! | |

| wedding dress | | what do you think about wedding dress or do you think it's necessary for a bride to have her wedding dress? | |
| | wedding dress | | ill be getting married next year. as of this moment, i am currently busy preparing for the wedding stuffs so as not to turn myself into a bridezilla. some parts of the wedding is taken care of and i have already canvassed for the minor things such as the invitations, receptions etc. my only trouble is the wedding dress. i used to dream about having my dress designed by a professional (designer) but then money is short so practicality comes first. i just figured that perhaps its best to just have it sewn. i already have a particular design in mind..trouble is i don't know a talented tailor who could just produce the dress i have in mind...my other option is to just rent..which may be cheaper.. im not yet 100 percent sure about this but i've received advices from close friends and relatives that its best not to spend too much on dress i get to wear only once. that i should just put some of my money for the future instead like future house, for our baby when i get pregnant etc.. etc..that's reasonable enough. i know its for our own good.
anyway i do hope i can find the dress fit for me.. dress that isn't too costly but still look good on...
