| | Do you like to send your letters through post office or E-mail? | | It is of old practice s of now and totally gone are the days in writing letters to others. But writing letters has now become old practice and the question arises AS STILL WE NEED POST OFFICES TO POST OUR LETTER.However many people do write letters even though they do have the Internet facility and of course they know everything. First mainly I do have the habit of sending posts and greeting cards and later I find very comfortable with my mails and I hope very useful nowadays with this type of facility.Do you have the habit of sending mails through post or mails would it be fine if you confine yourself with mails or finishing with posts? However life has got some taste and each individual has the option of choosing any of THE OPTIONS. Suppose if the system of posting I mean post office itself would get eradicated then what would do you will your solution. Would you stop posting the letters or can have some other option? However many people would have been under great stress when the net availability has gone down due to some reasons and it would frustrate others for anything. | |

| What Do You Wish The Happy Couple For Their Marriage? | | Having just attended a family friend’s wedding recently I’m feeling quite sentimental and mushy, I thought I’d ask my fellow mylotters what they wish for people when they attend their wedding. I don’t know if anyone’s noticed that I can babble on for ages. I never use a few words when I can use 100s instead LOL! When I give wedding cards I always write in a bit extra which comes from the heart, in fact, I tend to try to buy cards which have nothing written inside so I can write my own best wishes to the couple. I always include thing like wishing them understanding each other, happiness, eternal love, good health and prosperity. I’m not a fan of wishing people good luck but I think the things that I wish them cover all areas of life which they need. I’m not saying that any of my wishes will come true for them but I like to think at least some of my good wishes will come to fruition for them! What sort of thing do you wish for couples on their special day and their life ahead? Or do you buy a wedding card and hope that the words written by the professional greeting card writers will say it all for you? | |

| inappropriate card yanked from shelves at Halark | | A lady who was shopping for a Wedding card, saw one that she claims promoted teen promiscuity, and teen sex and drinking, the card which showed 2 hands holding champaigne glasses, and then on hte inside made reference to liquid clothes remover, All procedes of the cards were to go to charity, but the charity, AIDS awareness and AIDs organizations in Africa, may have missed its mark, I have read several places that is where the highest populaiton of AIDS is.She took the card to the front where the clerk agreed with her, and the clerk offered a refund and upon refusal said the refund would be donated to charity.http://www.seacoastonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080411/NEWS/804110427&e+adHave you ever seen a card that you thought should not be displayed?Have you done anything about it?
Or would you just put the card down and walk away?I'd probably put the card down and walk away,
So I admire this woman for standing up for what she believed in.
| | Should I invite my son’s friends? | | My only brother-in-law is getting married on the 22nd of next month. Being an only child of my parents, he is the only ‘brother’ I have seen up close for 10+years. And he has reciprocated every inch of my love and respect for him. We are a very close-knit family and being the ever-indulgent uncle, he has asked my 8yr old son (his only nephew) whether he wants to invite any of his friends for the wedding reception. My son has opted for two of his many ‘best friends’. Till this its OK but an 8yr old can’t come alone. So we have to invite their parents too. Even that is OK (addition of 4 people hardly matter in a crowd of 300) but the problem is that we know none of the parents. I have never spoken to either of the mothers nor has my husband ever interacted with the fathers. Now my son is adamant and his uncle thinks a child should have his rights in so important a matter as his uncle’s wedding. (they even decided on the menu together). I don’t want to be the only spoilsport here.
Now do I call up the parents and invite myself over to their house to hand over the wedding card? Or do I ask my child to hand over the cards in the school itself and I make a cursory telecall and request...
