| Buying wedding gift | | I know I waited too long to buy anything online, because tomorrow my friend is getting married and I still have no gift for her. That is because I didn't know what to get her, I know she likes angels, but I didn't know actually what. Then it hit me last night, a set of candlesticks. I hope that our local walmart/k-mart has some nice ones, because when I went online, the only ones that look good enough I can only get online and obviously I don't have the time. (Or really the money either when I include overnight shipping)I really would like to get this gift for her, but just in case what ideas do you have. Nothing too expensive, at least under $50.00. | |

| Interesting and Clever Concept | | We went to a wedding last night. Was at a very nice private club. I haven't seen this before and we've been to many weddings. During the course of the reception, a photo booth was placed in the lobby area. A table next to the booth allowed the guests to place their 3, black and white photos in the wedding book along with any comments to the bride and groom. the wedding was large so this allows the bride and groom to see who attended the wedding in case they didn't get a chance to visit with each table. Now why didn't I think of this idea! Do you agree this was a very interesting and clever concept for wedding memories? | |
| | Sad day to me:( | | Today is my mom's 6th death anniversary and I am really sad today. Was looking at some old videos of my mom and my wedding album in which she looked so weak. | |

| things brings humiliation to a whole new level | | Check this out. What a way to lash out at your husband. This lady has taken her marriage to YouTube to spill the secrets of a marriage in an apparent effort to gain leverage and humiliate the other side. She goes through their wedding album on camera, describing family members as "bad" or "evil" or "nasty," and talks about how her husband is allegedly trying to evict her from their luxury apartment. She also makes embarrassing claims regarding their intimate life, and then calls his office on camera to repeat those claims to a stunned assistant. What do you think about it? Would you do something like this?http://news.aol.com/story/_a/wife-takes-divorce-drama-to-youtube/20080416063709990001?icid=100214839x1200067047x1200003669 | |
| | for someone i care about | | Too Busy for a Friend...One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down.It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers. That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual. On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. "Really?" she heard whispered/ "I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!
and, "I didn't know others liked me so much," were most of the comments. No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on. Several years later, one of the students was killed in Vietnam and his... | |

| Do you still printing your pictures to the film papers? | | In this digital era, people usually using digital camera and digital data, so I saw that many people comfort to make their digital album without printing it to make hard copy picture albums (maybe people only make hard copy printed for their wedding album). I also keep all my pictures in my pc and never print it in to the papers or film papers. But I also think, what if my hard disc is crash someday... I think I will loss the pictures because no back up, hmmmm but that thought still not make me move to print all the photos in my pc LOL. How about you? Do you still print and keep all photos in to photo albums? Or just rely on the storage data in your PC? | |
| | Procrastination... | | Are you a procrastinator? I am but I'm not. For example, I had stuff complete for my wedding way ahead of time, but now I have to pick 70-80 pictures for my wedding album and it's just taking me forever!!! It seems I can be fast and quick about certain things, and slow about others. The weirdest thing is how I procrastinate about things I want to do! I want to pick these pictures! I want to make my memory book! I want to put cool stuff on my website! But I procrastinate about all these things I like to do. Any idea why? Only thing I can think of is that I don't want to do it until I'm ready to do it perfect or really pay attention when I do it so I won't start these projects when I'm tired or blah. What do you guys think? Do you have this problem? | |
